Real Estate has largely been an industry for men, a sector that demands hard physical labour and daily dealing with an unorganised orkforce. As a result, the industry has seldom seen active participation from women. Such is the irony that while a woman is regarded as someone who makes a house a home, the focal point that keeps a home and family together has practically no footprint in this industry.
To address this disparity, CREDAI launched a business forum called “CREDAI Women’s Wing” with a long term aim of making this industry gender neutral. CREDAI Women’s Wing will make an effort towards increased leadership of women within Real Estate.
CREDAI Women’s Wing will provide a strong networking forum and also create an incubation program to encourage more active women participation in this industry. This initiative has received tremendous response from across the country. CREDAI Women’s Wing will also pursue various important issues that affect all women stakeholders of the Real Estate industry.
